Ahan but this guy is an average player tho why is he hot on the market

    • Ikeben 4 years ago

To u, he is average but not to the Top managers coaches. Scoring 2 goals against Real Madrid with an assist in the champions league home and away matches is not average.

When we see average, the experts see a young talented player with potential of becoming a star with more nurture.

Ride on guy the sky is your starting point.

      • Glory 4 years ago

Ignore his ignorance, Denise is a quality player. First touch superb, quick movement on the ball matched with exquisite skills. Not surprised top clubs are gunning for him. He LL surely fit into Arsenal or crystal palace as these two clubs based in London seem to have open policies to every race.

Just because he’s a Nigerian he’s an average player but if he’s from a European country he’s a world class, you really need to change how you view things and learn to appreciate one of your own if he or she is doing great.

  • Asoko Emmanuel 4 years ago

Am sure @Darey did not use the word average in the derogatory sense, but only surprise as at the way the guys stakes has increased.Dennis is a fine player that has the capacity to play at any level. Will prefer for him to play either under Acheloti or Arteta as those Coaches have the ability to improve a player.Congrat Dennis, congrat Niger

Fake news. He is not yet qualified to play in EPL

    • Samchi 4 years ago

See your Life’ you have already ruled out any hope of him playing in the Epl as if those people who play there are immortals’ for your information Dennis was frustrating one Arnold Danjuma on the bench at club brugge.
Which forced him to move to the EPL to play for Bournemouth (also you forget that Club brugge is a champions league team of higher profile than most Epl teams you are claiming he can’t play in). Thatx a little tip’!!

      • Glory 4 years ago

Some of these good for nothing post against Nigeria n nigerian players are from foreigners, either from Ghana, south Africa n others. Guys don’t be decieved by their fictitious names, they only used those to decieve. Its just down to envy of how Nigeria players are excelling while their boiling eggs in Europe.lol

      • Arnaud Groensvekd Danujma had a Netherlands passport, he has played for their national side and is considered a European national as such does not have the restrictions Dennis Bonaventure has.
Dennis will not qualify to play in England as he has not played, 75% of matches for the super Eagles this year.
In order to qualify under “exceptional talent rules any club that wants him will have to break the bank and buy him for over £40m, it’s doubtful that either club will bid that high.

The website article is speculative and the transfer will not happen

  • Yet our coach can’t even give him some minutes in the Eagles.

  • U cant blame a coach for not playing a player who many players are better than in desame team as for denise i am not carreid away bcos of his goals against real madrid i feel he doesnt deserve super eagles place for now may be in the near future. If ejuke and dessers comes in then there might be no room for average players like him and the likes of moses simon and ahmed musa

    • Chris 4 years ago

Dennis is not an average player, please watch his
games, I mean full matches not highlights, he is a team player and very quick on the ball, I have been following his performances for two seasons now, and I believe he will soon move to the epl.

  • @ goal why is it that some of you delight in blaming the coach for everything? He should get minute at the expenses of who and can all the players play at the time

    • Which player is better than Dennis in Eagles attack ? Maybe chukwueze, Kalu, osihme who else? Can you compare him with onuachu? If I talk now dey say I de insult coach.

      • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahahaha…after cynically asking which player is better than Dennis is the SE attack, you also cynically answered the cynical question you posed by listing 3, I mean 3 players. LMAO…so pls which one of them should the coach put on the bench for Dennis…?

Oh…I forgot…you belong to the category of people who insist the coach must play 10 attackers and 1 goalkeeper to keep y’all satisfied.
The 2 friendly matches we’ve played after afcon so far, he got game time in both….I dont know what you want again.

Getting a starting shirt in the SE now is elimination by substitution….not by favouritism. One the right side of our attack we have Chukwueze and Musa…. on the left we have Kalu and Simon…(very formidable players anyway anytime)….in the centre Osimhen is the undisputed no 1. The likes of a resurgent Iheanacho, Onyekuru, Ejuke, and Dessers are still on the waiting list.

If you can’t beat whoever is in your position, and tie down that position with the smallest opportunity you get, strap yourself firmly to the bench. QED.

If that arrangement too pain you when Rohr leaves apply for the job.

        • After making comments you liked it by yourself, I mentioned 3 players,2 wingers and 1 striker, who will replace them ? Musa is finished and the rest have not been invited.

          • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Hahahaha…pls show us evidence that I liked my comments myself. Na jealousy go kill some people. Telling lies is deep rooted in their blood.

That finished Ahmed Musa is seriously being sought after by fenerbache to replace the wobbling and fumbling V.Moses.
You that is not finished cannot even attract one like to your comments. Lolz

  • Denis is stil far better than iwobi and simon. The last time simon get past a marker in with eagle shirt, ebele jonathan was still in power.

_This two players are waste of space. Iwobi lack concentration, and shoot like some one with sore on feet.

_For streight3 matches Everton fans has been calling iwobi “wastedful player”. Some even said they dont know how manage iwobi became a player. While some said he is not good to be in epl.

_A player with just only one quality. Please one word for iwobi.

  • Larry 4 years ago

@ Victor, can you tell us what Nantes fans sbd managers have been saying about Simon ?

    • Larry 4 years ago

Thank you Dr. Drey. I decided not to join issues with the guy. If players are picked on current form.
Osimhen, Moses and Maja are our biggest export in France. Kalu is not a regular in Bordeaux, Onyekwuru has been demoted to the junior team. Osimhen is our best expert in france.
Dennis is our best player in Belgium.
Chukwueze is our best player in Spain
Ndidi is our best player in England.
Aina is our best player in Italy.

  • but why is it that iwobi form keep going down? iwobi disappointed everyone that was believe in him.

  • @Larry simon has been making impact in club level. but u check it na. when last he make impact in eagle? 2015 was the last time simon dribble past opponent.

    • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

“…When last did he make impact in the Eagles…?”

It’s like the transformer in your village was stolen when Simon scored goals or gave assists in matches against Brazil, SA, Guinea and others in the last one year.

Dribbling past opponents seems to be the only element that makes impacts to you. Defensive cover, transition of play, assists and goals are worthless.

Simon’s game has matured overtime from senseless dribbles with no useful outputs to more purposeful team focused play and that has made him an essential part of both clubs he has played in and the national team (after being surplus to requirements at Gent). Kalu is also currently suffering the same fate now at bourdeax and he might need a quick reset of his mindset to earn his place in the starting XI back.

Nobody has time for useless dribbles anymore not even C.Ronaldo. If Simon’s not dribbling past opponents too pain you, when next u see in name for team list, go use eraser clean am.

  • tho simon can be reliable than iwobi.

  • Hmmm. Iwobi has something that most players lack and most teams need, and dats a good through pass. He creates a lot of scoring opportunities in his team and dats wat makes him valuable even if he doesn’t score alot of goals. He is precious in the super eagles midfield bcos we dont have any player who has dat ability to create goal scoring opportunities in the team. As for Simon, he may not be as quick as he was but he is definitely stronger and smarter. He has great understanding of the game and he can attack and defend in equal measure. This coupled with the fact that he can also create goal scoring opportunities from the wings makes him very valuable in his team and the national team.

  • Iwobi is the best player in the supereagles. Apart from jayjay magics iwobi is a better attacking midfielder i have washed in eagles since 1994. I dont want to talk about is club he is not a top striker and i dont expect any goal for him. But with the eagles i am sorry u cant replace him not even aribo. Iwobi is the second highest goal scorer(8 goals) in the present eagles only second to ahmed musa who has played alot games than him. Iwobi is better 10 than mikel with about 9 assist in is few games morethan jayjay records i mean compairing them by number of games played. Some of u guys always sing etebo and ndidi and thoe this guys are good but they have both did blunders that cost super eagles defeats and nobody want to critizise them. It takes time to perfect shooting skills jayjay martins oruma obodo musa victor moses they all had shooting problems. It seems to be more of a gift than practices anyway.

  • Abdul 4 years ago

Why would someone be so blind to see how important iwobi is to every team. Iwobi is obviously not the prolific midfielder but he connects to the attack faster enough than many big names, coupled with his tremendous work rate. He’s not a hard tackler but he can quickly cover the grounds to increase the number of defending players when his team is not in pocession of ball. Modern football is more than just having so many qualities, but much more about how better you are at executing your specific task or primary assignment on the field of play, and this is why so many players have been considered not good in the game. A very good example is our former super eagles captain, John Obi Mikel. Many has consdiered the successful lad has been sluggish and non-industrous in the midfield, but Mikel stabilizes and cordinate his defense with a top notch insightful passes that rarely goes into the hands of opponent. By just doing this task, he had played and won laurels under several managers in his hay days.

However, iwobi as a player still has a lot to learn in his career, but that he is a “wasted” or “useless” player as many of you have sighted is completely unthougtful, and clearly shows our jejune understanding of the beautiful game.

  • Please somon fans. Without any insults. I feel u guys have watchin the eagles games with black and white tv. (Joking) let us analise. Simon have recorded 4 goals with eagles and 2 against cameroun and 2 others against sichelles and one nice freekick against another african team i forgot the name. Simon has 5 assists as a winger. 2 at the last nations cup. 1 against brazil and one against cameroun infact only four. So please tell me how the records make him reliable for eagles. I think somethin is attached to ur likes for him i dont think its for football reason. And some one is compairin him to premier league steady player like iwobi. Anyway no blames

    • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

So a player who provides defensive cover and makes the left side of our defense impregnable whenever he plays, and still manages to contribute at least a goal or assist in average of every 3 games for SE is not reliable.

A winger who has been involved in 10 goals in 30 appearances and still provides enough tactical balance btw attack & defense to the team is not making the team on merit ehn…?

And yet you claim someone else is watching black and white TV…?

Mr…do you even have eyes at all…?

  • Asoko Emmanuel 4 years ago

Compliments to all the forumite.A good analysis must be supported with facts for acceptance and better understanding. That Dennis is better than Iwobi and Simon put together brings to fore the hasten manner the analysis and the conclusion was reached.
Firstly,Iwobi is a natural creator whose strengh lies in giving final balls even in the smallest of spaces.Dennis is an attacker whose quest for scoring goals is his priority. He will rather goal for goal rather than create even where others are better placed than him.The reason Dennis is labelled selfish, but u can’t blame him that is his make up- to score goals.I’ll rather have an Iwobi in my team who will strive to create goals to the goals scorer in the team.
That Simon has not gone pass an opponent since 2015 is childish and myopic. He dribbled pass several defenders to score against Seychelles in the qualifies. But did you see that pass to Aribo for the first goal against Brizil? The control from Osimhems cross was sublime and the hold up to wait for the arrival of Aribo was even more beautiful.I can give u many more example.Dont get me wrong Dennis is a fantastic baller who can be the world best if well nurtured.I particularly love his confidence on the ball and reminds me of Neymar in his early days. But u see Iwobi and Simon have added several more to their games which he must work on.Iwobi is not doing badly at Everton, the entire Everton is having issues so it is only usual that even Iwobi might have it difficult.
