Marco Silva has beaten off competition from rivals Manchester City and Liverpool to the signing of Reinier Jesus, according to reports. The player will not be coming to the Everton until January when he turns 18-years-old and the Toffees will have to pay £36m to Flamengo for his services.

Jesus is very highly thought of amongst scouts and is said to be one of the brightest prospects in Brazilian football. Although he has yet to play a senior match for Flamengo, the teenager’s signing would certainly be a feather in the cap of the club. He came to the attention of interested parties when he shone for the Brazil Under 17s in the South America championship and Everton appear to have beaten both Liverpool and Man City to his services.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
