Roberto Gagliardini is happy at Inter Milan and is not looking for a move away this summer, according to his brother. Italy international Gagliardini has been with the Nerazzurri since January 2017, having initially joined on loan from Atalanta, and he was a regular first-team fixture during his first full season at the San Siro, making 30 Serie A appearances.
However, the 25-year-old found life difficult during the 2018/19 campaign and he was limited to just 19 league outings, having often been overlooked in favour of Borja Valero. Reports had suggested the midfielder was contemplating an exit, having come under criticism from fans, but his brother has revealed his sibling is happy and looking forward to working under new boss Antonio Conte.
“Roberto didn’t play as much last season but he still did fairly well overall,” he told FcInter1908. “He’s happy in Milan and wants to continue his career with Inter. “I hope he can provide a greater contribution this year, both in Serie A and in the Champions League.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
