Former Nigerian midfielder, Henry Nwosu believes Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi can flourish at the heart of the team’s midfield if he can be deployed by Jose Peseiro.
Recall that Iwobi was excellent when he was deployed to the midfield by Everton manager, Frank Lampard in the team’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
The rejuvenated Iwobi has played in a variety of positions for Everton, showing his skill and versatility.
Against Chelsea, the task was different as he was paired alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure in a midfield double pivot.

Iwobi played creditably well in the game providing two key passes that almost led to an Everton goal.
Reacting to his performance, the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winner in a chat with Completesports.com, urged Peseiro to explore Iwobi’s creativity in the national team.
“I was really impressed with the way Iwobi handled the midfield for Everton against Chelsea. He was well composed and his ball distribution was great.
“It won’t be a bad idea if the Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro decide to explore Iwobi’s talent in the midfield if he continues to play this way.”

Lampard and Everton might rely on Iwobi this season if he maintain such an impressive performance all through the campaign.
Meanwhile, I tipped Steve Cooper to rely on his record signing Taiwo Awoniyi to produce the goals needed to survive relegation.
Lampard must deploy Iwobi as number 10 then put instead him at defensive midfield role a player who can do this role with Dacour; at Super Eagles role Peseiro also must put him as number 10 then he can be given a defensive role with Wifred Ndidi or Etebo; also Peseiro must emit creativity role at attacking midfied in Iwobi soul in order to score more goals just like Sao Tomi & Principi match when Iwobi had been a frist man in this match by distributing more and more goal passes for strikers.
