Eze Looks To Inspire Crystal Palace Bounceback Against Newcastle

Crystal Palace will be banking seriously on Eberechi Eze in tonight’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United at Selhurst Park in their bid to bounce back from last week’s loss to Burnley.

Palace went down 1-0 to strugglers, Burnley in their first game back after the international break despite Eze playing from start to finish
but are two points better than their tonight’s opponents.

Eze joined Palace from Sky Bet Championship side, Queens Park Rangers during the summer transfer window which ended early last month for an amount within the region of 20 million pounds.

The attacking midfielder scored
his first ever Premier League goal as Palace destroyed Leeds United 4-1 at Selhurst Park in their last fixture prior to the most recent international break.

Eze was handed his third start in the 2020/21 English top campaign and he repaid chief trainer, Hodgson’s faith in him with a wonderful effort as the Eagles won quite comfortably.

The 22-year-old assisted Scott Dann’s 12th minute goal after which Palace doubled their lead on 22 minutes through Eze whose bullet free-kick pulled over the wall into the top left corner.

In the process, the midfielder also extended his impressive personal record as that was the fifth occasion the Anglo Nigerian had both scored and made a assist in a single league fixture.

Eze is also set to fill in for Wilfried Zaha who had to withdraw from Palace’s squad to face Burnley after testing positive for coronavirus and he is expected to also sit out the Newcastle tie.

Because you’ve not been reading the news about eze. He doesn’t want to play for Nigeria, at least for now (maybe until he is totally sure maybe England are not in need of his services)
