Eze Thrilled To Scoop Crystal Palace Player Of The Month Award

Eberechi Eze has expressed his delight after he was named Crystal Palace’s W88 Player of the Month for November, reports Completesports.com.

“It’s a great privilege and I’m grateful the fans have been entertained by my performances. It’s a great pleasure.

“Leeds was a huge game for me. It was the perfect opportunity for me to come in and to stake my claim. It was a great performance by the boys, great points on the board.”

The summer signing shone for netting his first Premier League goal in style, rifling home a free-kick against Leeds United at the start of the month and bagging an assist in the same game.

Frustrating results followed for the Eagles, but fans felt Eze stood out, choosing him for the POTM accolade with almost 64% of the vote.

Eze beat Nathaniel Clyne (10%) to first place in the vote after the defender played all three matches for the Eagles.

Drey and his fans won’t see this now. They will keep on hating on Eze and hammering everyone that says EZE is the Ideal No.10 Super Eagles need and not IWOBI. They will say until “Eze scores a goal in Europa Final” before he can be at Iwobi’s height…I laugh! Now same Iwobi and Eze are playing in the Premier League and we can clearly see for those who have eyes that Eze is a far far better Attacking Midfielder than Iwobi. When did Iwobi ever win player of the month sef??

Hehehehehe…in a month where his team lost all but one of their matches, he wins player of the month with 1 goal and 1 assist and you are bowing down before him to worship him…..LMAO. Wetin Sule nor go see for abbatoir. Keep on comparing best student award in elementary school to best student award in University. No disrespect, Crystal palace is not on the same level, both in terms of quality or pedigree with Everton not to talk of Arsenal. No player of Everton or Arsenal will score just 1 goal and 1 assist in a month and win club player of the month award. Thats mediocrity to say the least. Eze would not even make bench of any of Everton or Arsenal not to even talk of starting games. Eze is so good he has a permanent place on the bench of England U20 even in inconsequential EURO under20 qualifiers against teams like Andorra while Iwobi is so bad yet is involved in almost EVERY goal the senior national team of Nigeria scores, whether vs Sierra Leone or vs Brazil. Type ‘Iwobi man of the match’ on google to see tonnes of awards iwobi has won at higher levels than crystal palace…..LMAO. Hate Iwobi all you can, but there is NO NIGERIA player ANYWHERE in the world at the moment who can displace iwobi from the no10 position of the SE…..and that’s a fact! If the player likes let him win even Guiness book of world records.

Abeg forget that Eze,even if he likes let him the award 100 times,he is still no where near the level he made think he is with his YouTube highlights.I have watched him in 3 games and he couldn’t really influence any

Eze is an excellent player that would add value to any team, let’s be honest about that. His quality is not in doubt but why do we always compare players. Iwobi has his style of play so does Eze, they are very different in dia own right. There is no point talking too much about Eze as he has said he wants to concentrate on England U20, he isn’t ready to commit his future to tge SE, so we should let him be. Again to me, he is an amazing talent that would do very well in the SE. He is in the mold of Grealish of Aston villa, dia styles are very similar too. Eze has been amazing today albeit against a 10 man Westbrom team, not diminishing his contribution tho. If he decides to play for 9ja great, who says he can’t play alongside Iwobi? Our midfield is packed with quality players like Ndidi, Aribo, Etebo, Shehu, Iwobi, then add Ejaria to the mix. This doesn’t even include fringe players like Onteka, Azeez, Tijani or even Nwakali. Again if Eze decides to play for 9ja, it will be a great addition but that would mean one midfielder would have to be dropped, whi would that be? It won’t be Ndidi, Etebo or Shehu as these are DM and moreover Etebo and Shehu has to battle for the 2nd DM position as a fit Ndidi is a guaranteed starter. Aribo in my view is unique in that he is the only left footed midfielder in the team, you always need a player with his quality and he adds goals too. Iwobi might play poorly for Everton but in 9ja colors he plays like a person possessed. Ejaria has same qualities as Eze, so who would Eze replace considering also that our mumu sports minister and NFF president say 4 spots must be allocated to home-based players. Again, Eze’s presence in the SE will add value but him not playing for 9ja won’t make the team any worse imho. Just a thought
