Manchester City have qualified for the quarterfinals of this season’s Emirates FA Cup after a 3-1 win against Swansea away.
Goals from Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, sealed the win against the Championship club.
Morgan Whittaker got Swansea’s goal with less than 15 minutes left in the game.
City took the lead in the 30th minute as Walker’s
low cross evaded everyone but still managed to beat Freddie Woodman in goal for Swansea before nestling into the bottom corner.
In the 47th minute Sterling made it 2-0 as he simply passed the ball into the net after being put clean through.
City went 3-0 up thanks to Jesus with a delicate take-down, spin and finish from a crossfield pass from Ilkay Gundogan.
With 13 minutes remaining in the game Swansea pulled a goal back through Whittaker who controlled a pass before hitting a low shot into the net.
