FIFA Ranking (May): Super Eagles Maintain 32nd, 3rd Positions In The World,  Africa

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were non-movers at number 32 according to May’s rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, reports Completesports.com.

The latest FIFA World Ranking was released on Thursday and published on FIFA’s official website.

In Africa, the Super Eagles with 1487 points also maintain their position at number three.

Senegal are ranked first in Africa and 22nd in the world with 1542 points, while Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles – who are also unmoved – remain 26th globally and second in Africa after accruing 1512 points.

The top five teams in the world remain unchanged with Belgium in number one position, while France, Brazil England and Portugal follow in that order.

Nigeria have two friendlies lined up against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Austria in June.

  • Super Eagles is now made up of players that can beat any team in Africa provided the coach and his assistance know what they are doing. This is the time Nigeria must return to number one position in FIFA ranking in Africa and keep on beating every Africa team and having friendly games with countries like Spain and France at international level.
