Four Euro Clubs In Race For Ogu Summer Deal

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu is on the radar of four European teams Completesports.com has reliably gathered.

Turkish Super Lig teams, Yeni Matalayaspor and Trabzonspor, as well as Hamburg of Germany and Real Sociedad of Spain have all contacted the 31 year old’s representative over a possible summer move.

Ogu is out of contract with Hapoel Beer Sheva at the end of the season after spending five years at the club.

“Yes several clubs has asked about Ogu’s availability ahead of the summer, but he is focused on helping Hapoel Beer Sheva end the season on a high as much as they can,” one of his representatives told Completesports.com.

“He must stay fit for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, and after that he can sit and discuss his future.”

Ogu has been one of Hapoel Beer Sheva’s most effective midfielders in recent years and has firmly cemented his place in the Camel’s first team.

During his five year spell so fat at Hapoel Beer Sheva, Ogu won six titles – three successive league crowns, as well as lifting the Israeli Cup twice and one Toto Cup title.

    This is one fabulously gifted player, so under-rated. Truly reminds me of late Mac Vivien Foe of Cameroon. He represent how Nigeria n Cameroon players used to look like: big, powerful n strong.     Ogu has always been a talented player IMHO. How he hasnt managed to pin down a permanent shirt in the SE even under successive managers seems quite inexplicable. Probably had an ingredient which they all wanted missing. At 32, he’s not got much time left. I guess its time to make retirement money..! Turkey, Middle East and China on my mind. Lolz

    Meanwhile,where are all this clubs all this years Ogu has been playing great football for his club and country well never too late in life it’s what it’s.

    Nigeria fail to cap players on time before they get old, look at chukwueze, una no go use now him still dey young and powerful, na when him start getting tired
