Reigning champions, France have qualified for the final of the 2022 World Cup after overcoming Morocco 2-0 in the semi final on Wednesday.
France, who have now made it back-to-back final, started the game on a fast pace as they attacked the Atlas Lions from both ends.
However, Theo Hernandez opened scoring for the reigning champions with a well taken finish in eh 5th minute to the delight of their technical crew.
Morocco also lost the clearly unfit Romain Saiss to injury before half-time but, roared on by their fanatical support, they came close to drawing level, especially when Jawad El Yamiq’s overhead kick was kept out by a combination of the post and France keeper Hugo Lloris.
Didier Deschamps’ side always threatened on the break and so it proved as the lurking Muani finally broke Morocco’s resistance late on.
France will now face Argentina in the final on Sunday while Morocco will slug it out against Croatia for a third-place match on Saturday.

Even their players claimed their victory was for the Arab world without mentioning Africa. The truth is that North Africans have always been more alligned to the Arabs and feel superior to the rest of sub saharan Africa…..They parked the bus from the second round and it worked for them by taking advantage of counter attacks but they met a French master class today who scuttled their plans with an Early goal…..Forcing them to come out and attack. The whole Africa is supporting this arab nation, because they are the real Africans, they have no choice to but to support. Discipline is the most important thing. The difference between sub saharan team and arab teams is that arab teams play united, they are all the same.
Asians teams do teamwork and listen to the coach. This Moroccan coach is qualified and studied in Europe, it wasn’t due to nepotism or past glories.

Moroccans are not Arabs. They are a mixture of Berbers, black people, white people and some Arabs who have lived together for thousands of years. The Arabs are some part of Saudi Arabia and people of Yemen. History has it that the British started this Arab this to perpetuate their divide and rule method to fight the Turkish empire. Its just like telling us that the Egyptian empire were white people when we know they were black people that were civilized when Europeans where still living in the bush.Egyptian empire was already more than a thousand years in proper civilization when Marc Antony and Cleoptra were doing there lovy lovy. Too much praise made the Moroccan coach’s head swell. He messed up this game, firstly he abandoned his defensive game in the first 10 minutes and pursued an aggressive press that left space for France’s first goal. Secondly, he made a bad decision to field an injured Sais.
Once Morocco went behind it became an almighty task. Why? They had to attack, and in attacking, they showed the inadequacy of their team. NFF are jokers. The time CAF did pro A license for top coaches in Africa. Out of the 23 accredited coaches. 20 coaches came from Morocco. There current coach was there. Rigobert song, Cisse of Senegal and Mosimane of south Africa were the other coaches that qualified. No Nigerian coach qualified. Morocco is miles ahead of other African countries in football now and the will dominate for sometime. Top facilities and coaches.
