UEFA has chosen German referee Daniel Siebert to officiate the Champions League final between Paris Saint-German and Arsenal in Budapest on May 30.
Siebert’s appointment marks his first time officiating a UEFA club competition final, capping over a decade as an international referee since 2015.
The 42-year-old has overseen nine Champions League games this season, including Arsenal’s quarter-final against Sporting CP and semi-final against Atlético Madrid, plus PSG’s quarter-final tie with Liverpool.

His résumé also includes officiating at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, underlining his experience at the highest level.
The German official will not be alone at the Puskás Aréna. He will be joined by fellow German assistants Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn.
In addition, VAR will be led by Bastian Dankert, ensuring a refereeing team of the highest trust for a clash that promises to be played at an intense level in Hungary.
