Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has disclosed that new £75 million signing Bruno Guimarães has the hunger, personality, and quality to take Arsenal to the “next level”.
The Brazilian midfielder joined from Newcastle United on a long-term deal, and was unveiled to fans at the Emirates Stadium.

In a chat with the club’s website, Arteta praised the instant impact and drive Bruno showed right upon stepping foot onto the training ground.
He noted that his speed in transitioning play, ability to move between lines, and clear goal threat inside the box.
“I’m delighted to have him.
“We see very clearly – especially the energy that he brought immediately to the training ground – the hunger, the desire to come here and create a big history at the club.
“And that’s the ambition that we need.
“We want to go to the next level and are very, very much convinced that we’re going to need players with such a personality, desire and character to push everybody inside the organisation to go even higher.”

Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli’s future at Arsenal is increasingly uncertain following a reported bid from Turkish side Galatasaray.
According to football.london, Galatasaray have approached Arsenal over a potential move for Martinelli, 25.
Reports in Turkey, however, have revealed that the reigning Super Lig champions have already made a £34 million bid for the winger.
