“Leon (Balogun) felt a bit of tightness in warm up. Fil (Helander) was ready to come in and he did an outstanding job,”Gerrrad told Rangers TV after the game.

The centre-back played in Rangers’ opening three games of the campaign before spending few weeks on the sidelines as a result of injury.

He returned to the bench against Hamilton Academical after missing the games against Livingston and Kilmarnock.
