Serge Gnabry understands why Liverpool are many neutrals’ favourites but says Bayern Munich can never be underestimated.
The two European giants go head-to-head in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg clash this week and Bayern have already been written off by some following an inconsistent season so far.

On the other hand Liverpool have been outstanding in the English Premier League and are favourites with many to go through over the two legs.
Gnabry accepts Liverpool are bang in form but is backing Bayern to raise their game. “I do not think the public is wrong. Liverpool is playing a very strong season, you cannot deny that,” Gnabry told Goal.
“That’s okay. But that does not mean that we go into the game and say, ‘There is nothing to get.’ On the contrary: We have our strengths, we are Bayern. Everything is possible.”
