Rumours surfaced that his representatives had apologised to the Catalan club for his (Griezmann) refusal to sign last summer in the hope that it might smooth the waters and lead to a possible deal at the end of the campaign. However, reports emerged from the Nou Camp that Barca are not interested.
However, El Mundo Deportivo are suggesting the former Real Sociedad ace does want to move to the La Liga champions and is prepared to drop his 23million euros wage demands to facilitate a switch.
