Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl says he is looking to bring in some new faces during the summer transfer window.
Austrian tactician Hasenhuttl managed to successfully steer the Saints away from relegation trouble this term and his focus is already turning towards preparations for the next campaign.
Southampton ended their season with a disappointing 1-1 draw on Sunday at home to rock-bottom Huddersfield Town, who only managed 16 points from their 38 league matches.
Reacting to the performance after the match, Hasenhuttl says he knows the areas of his squad that need improving and he is hoping to do some business in the summer. “It is a very clear picture for me now what we are still missing in our game,” he told reporters. “Maybe we know that we only win games when we have the perfect commitment and shape and work perfect together. “If there are a few guys not 100 per cent in the right direction then we are struggling always.

That means we need more quality next season.
We must create more quality but maybe also get quality in from new players. That is what we are looking for in the summer for sure. “It will be a difficult summer for sure because we have our limits with transfer fees and things like that but we must be clear that we have to make a few new players in the team.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
