Arsenal star Kai Havertz says he feels strong, fresh, and ready for the new campaign after scoring the opening goal in the Gunners’ 4-1 pre-season victory over Girona.
In a chat with the club’s website, Havertz stated that the team must reach another level to build on their past success.

The Germany international also noted that Arsenal are aiming to win all available trophies in the upcoming season.
“You saw already the connections we had on the pitch. It was a good test for us against a good team and I think we played strong. We need to continue like that now,” he told club media.
“Playing games is the best way to get fit and especially for the players. I think they’ve had a long break now. I think it’s important to play a couple of games. I think we’re already looking forward to the next one.
“(My fitness levels) are quite good, to be fair. I feel like I had three weeks off. I think I didn’t lose too much and I feel good, feel strong and I’m ready to go.”
Havertz is adamant he can play with Viktor Gyokeres and, importantly, understands his game.
“No, I think it’s quite natural to be fair,” he said. “I think he’s easy to play with because I know which runs he wants and where he wants the pass. I’ve been on that striker position as well a lot of times, so I understand him quite well.

“We have a top connection on and off the pitch, so that helps as well. I think he’s one of the best strikers in the world, and to play with him is very easy.”
The removal of the overwhelming pressure that was weighing the side down every season the club finished again as runners-up is invaluable for Arsenal.
But having ended a 22-year wait to win the league, the question lingers where does the side go now.
