Higuain Wants Juve Stay

Gonzalo Higuain intends to see out the final two years of his contract with Juventus and is not looking to leave the Allianz Stadium this summer. The Argentina international is back with the Bianconeri following his loan spell with English Premier League side Chelsea in the second half of last season, but there has been talk of him moving on again.

Maurizio Sarri is now in charge of the Old Lady and after working together at Chelsea and Napoli, the striker may have been feeling optimistic about his chances of forcing his way back into the Juve side. Even so, reports in the Italian press claim that Juve officials are keen to move him on if they can find a buyer.

But as far as Higuain’s brother is concerned, the striker is going nowhere, and is ready to fight for his place. Nicola Higuain took to Twitter on Sunday, claiming: “Gonzalo will only play for Juventus in Italy. Two years contract remains and it will be respected.”
