Chelsea forward Martell Taylor-Crossdale has reportedly flown to Germany for a medical ahead of his switch to Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim scouts were impressed with Taylor-Crossdale’s performances last season after he starred for both club and country.

Taylor-Crossdale, who was the top scorer in the Under-18 Premier League in 2017, has represented England from Under-16 through to the Under-20 level. He was also a member of the England Under-18 team that lifted the Toulon Tournament trophy in 2017.
Reports in England claim Chelsea tried to offer him fresh terms to stay put but he is now set to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer. Hoffenheim had to settle for a ninth-place finish in the Bundesliga last season and will be hoping he can have a similar impact to that of Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund.
