Completesports.com’s ADEBOYE AMOSU rates the performance of Super Eagles players in the 1-0 defeat to the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau on Friday…

FRANCIS UZOHO 5/10
Conceded once in the game. The goalkeeper was shaky at times in the game.

The Fenerbahce man didn’t do too badly on his home debut. Not a perfect one though.

The centre-back was caught napping for the goal scored by the hosts.

KEVIN AKPOGUMA 5/10
The Hoffenheim defender and his partner Calvin Bassey were caught napping for the decisive goal.

The left-back gave his best in the game but it was not enough to help the Super Eagles win the game.

Not one of his best performance for the Super Eagles.

Go to court if you are not satisfied with the rating

This rating shows the editor didn’t watch the match rather rated them based on speculations. Alot of things is actually wrong in Nigeria, even our media.

Bad game for Naija eagles with lots of missed chances.

    We go another day..

We, that is Nigeruans and NFF know the sition to this bunch of Eagles. It’s the quality of the coaching, goalkeeping department that has never stabised since Enyama left.
I still can’t understand why we keep going for strange unknown incompetent coaches. So sad we can’t live up to billing of a Super Eagle

  • Desperate times requires desperate measures but the Nigerian coach Pesiero does not want to apply desperate measures yet…….He wants to fall in line and do the bidding of the powers that be then at the same time get results……I laugh in Spanish…….Rhor was able to balance that politics of our football with results because he has been in the African football circles for long and knows the dirty games that go on within……. Piesero needs results to stay on the job and he needs go rogue on everyone now…….step on toes…. invite players that will give you results….. reject stadiums that won’t allow your players express themselves….. demand for funds when you need it…… request for the best training facility……speak out when you are been pushed by anyone…..this is the only way Pesiero can avoid being humiliated by NFF…….My 2 cent.

  • No need to rate anybody. Good football cannot be played in a bad country

  • 1. I think the name of rohr should not come up at all. He also has his very bad days as a coach too. Remember CAR. Remember Sierra Leone. Remember cape Verde. Even the team yesterday at least missed chances but was not the cases with rohr rhen.

    2. Yes, pessero cannot be completely absolved of tye blame. It started with the invitation. Sentiment all through. Ndidi was not fit. Onuachu still struggling at his new club. Ihenscho not having the best of times. Yet youbcalled them. Aribo not playing and you invite him. Nothing can be achieved with this type of invitation. Players should be invited based on fitness and capabilities.

    3. Our players need help. Is it a coach that will help ndidi chukwueze Simon to score clear missed chances. What about Oshimen too. These players need help in national colors. They can be too careless.

    4. Stop using bassey at central defense. The same thing happened in the first match. He allowed a free header and they scored.

But this clueless coach will still use him there.

    5. Lookman should not start matches again. He is not measuring up. Simon did better when he came in.

    6. We may also lose again on Monday.

All your points are valid except the last. Simon wasn’t better than Lookman, infact, the change was to early. With the first 20mins look was growing into the game till frustration kicked in. I blame Chukwueze the most, on 3 diff occasions in the first half, all the needed to do was place a square ball with Bright Osayi on the right flanks but went for useless crosses. His flamboyance in the first half and wastefulness in the second cost us the game. I tweeted this in the first 15 mins of the game even before we conceded that Chukwueze should be begged to take the game serious or it would cost us alot and this doom prophesy came to past.

I don’t know what Ndidi is doing In this team. He never put a foot rigjt in the game. He even had a chance which he fluffed. Osimhen needs to calm down and manage his emotions, his inability to manage his rage also affected the team.

Simon Moses being a senior player and playing  like that is shameful. Bassey has no place in the heart of defence. Throw him to the full backs. I am sad to say that Omeruo and Simi is better than what we saw yesterday.

I really can’t blame the coach much…the players certainly didn’t do their assignment.

The only joy of the game is the emergence of Bright Osayi. He looks so confident on the ball than Chukwueze and all of our midfielders combined.

  • 1. NFF= Corruption
    2. Paseiro= Clueless/ Incompetent
    3. Super Eagles= Lifeless
    4. 9ja= Useless

    Details:-

    1. NFF people are just a bunch of ignorant money-chasing guys who knows next to nothing about football but only looking to fill their pockets.
    2. Only a clueless and unqualified person like Paseiro will accept the Super Eagle’s job with all the corrupt processes and agenda ( Ask Sven-Goran Eriksson if you are in doubt). It took me only 5 minutes to realise that Guinea-Bissau came to sit back and counter against us and the clueless bench of the Eagles couldn’t figure it out in 90 minutes. The foolish coaching team played 4-4-2 but inverse the wingers! Who does that? Lookman should have been on the right as a right-footer and Chukwueze on the left as a leftie! This makes them more efficient in delivering crosses with their stronger feet, but the coach was using a 4-3-3 format to play 4-4-2. I even saw Iheanacho close to Chukwueze most times in the first half and both were forced back to their weaker feet.
    3. These players play for 9ja without any sense of purpose! Ndidi became a playmaker instead of a holding midfielder, Chukwueze was dribbling instead of finding crosses, Iheanacho was just directing traffic etc.
    4. The match yesterday just show 9ja as a nation. USELESS giant of the continent!!!
