Premier League newcomers Hull City are intensifying their efforts to sign Nigerian winger Femi Azeez from Sky Bet Championship side Millwall, reports Completesports.com.
The Tigers are eager to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the top flight after securing promotion last season, with Azeez identified as one of their priority transfer targets.
According to Football League World, Hull City are determined to complete a deal for the two-time Nigeria international before the start of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.
Millwall, however, are expected to prove difficult negotiators. The Lions reportedly turned down a £20 million bid from Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town earlier this summer, underlining their determination to retain one of their key players.

Azeez enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign, establishing himself as one of the Championship’s standout performers.
The winger registered 11 goals and eight assists in 33 league starts, playing a pivotal role in Millwall’s impressive season.
His outstanding displays were rewarded with a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season, further enhancing his reputation as one of the division’s brightest attacking talents.
Hull City will now hope they can convince Millwall to part with the highly-rated forward as they continue to reshape their squad for life in the Premier League.
