We know you are a lively player, please try to take this opportunity with both hands because this is a dress rehearsal for the world cup proper!!

Good luck to him. Hope he will be given opportunity to express himself

  • Hope you get your chance to shine.

    • It’s great to see a number of Super Eagles players in a bouyant mood leading up to the epic encounter against Egypt. Peter Olayinka, Taiwo Awoniyi and others have stated how highly motivated they are and ready for upcoming challenge.

It augurs well for their psychological preparedness and fills some of us fans with hope; hope that recent upheavals will not derail the efforts of the lads and coaching crew in Cameroon.

Nice1 Olayinka, ‘I can’t wait to give it my all’ should be SE official slogan. Go for Gold!

I love the competitive spirit been displayed by those that were called up to replayed people like Denis that lack passion and enthusiasm to play for the country. Rohr also contributed in making the team less competitive because he was always afraid of introducing new talent players even if better that old ones. So I’m so excited about the guys coming in with such great spirit and more so because I believe Egu is very innovative and not afraid of introducing new players

  • Go for Golf Super Eagles.

    God bless Nigeria.

  • Go for Gold Super Eagles.

    God bless Nigeria.

I have followed this lad from his days in Belgium.A very explosive winger who has excelled against big sides in European competitions. He was a nuisance against Barcelona caused them lots of problems with his pace and power.
Unfortunately, great performances like that has yet to be enacted in the national team largely due to quality players vying for the same position.Fortunately, fate has presented him a great opportunity coming in for unavailable Emmanuel Dennis.
Hopefully,he takes his chances in Cameroon. With new players like this you don’t know what to expect that’s the excitement we fans get going into a major competition.

    • Absolutely Greenturf, the excitement is starting to build with each passing day and such upbeat statements from the likes of Olayinka.

    Best of luck Peter.

  • It’s a great cheer to know that Peter Olayinka finally got a call up to the camp of the Super Eagles. Without doubt this invitation means a world to him, and I strongly believe he would make the most of the opportunity when it’s presented.

Olayinka is a very hardworking forward that presents a lot of attacking options for the head coach, from being a winger to a false 9, a centre forward to a supporting striker.

Peter Olayinka might not be a forward with many goals but possesses strong power play with strong physicality required for African football challenge to last the distance. Although he plays for Slavia Praha in the Fortuna Liga, yet his experience in the elite UEFA Champions League including the Uefa cup would come in handy for the national team.

With a lot of option attacking options at the disposal of the head coach, Equavoen, it remains be seen if his chances are few and far between with the team.

    All action player.

  • Hope you guys see how Senegal FA dragging this stupid and minor club watford on the ground they unwilling to release sarr? The Senegal FA doing that simply because sarr who to me is far better than Dennis show the willingness to be with his national team for the AFCON, but our FA decide to play it cool because Mr CR7 Dennis is NOT willing to play for his father land, all those excuses given are all lame to me, it all depend on the player.

    • @Femi, but Sarr has been injured since November and has not featured for Watford since then.
Watford even invited Senegal to send their doctors to conduct an independent assessment of the player.
Senegal are just blowing hot air

      • Olayinka should be give almost the same level of performance. It’s just that Dennis plays in EPL. But the same experience in Europe for both of them. I hope olayinka can seize this opportunity.

      • There we go and that’s my point, Senegal deem it right to fight it out simply bcos the player in question is willing to represent his father land, are we saying Dennis is more important to watford than sarr? Watford decline in form is partially due to sarr unavailability. I know Senegal gonna loose him just the way we lost VO but the point is the player desire and zeal to represent his country.

  • Peter is a very direct forward player who is never shy of taking on opponents one on one…….He has good foot work and his finishing is top notch…….Good to have him in camp let us see what he brings to the table……players like Peter if given international caps and recognition will be in a top5 league by now…….Let’s give players that are ready to Excel this caps not helping retiring players to gather caps that won’t be of any use to their club career anymore…….. Many Nigerian Players are on the fringes of European elite leagues and are ready to take the next lip into the top5 league which international football can help……..Peter is one of them.

Everything you said above @Akp is a super truth, not just the truth. I love the fact that someone is reading the real reason why our players including Nwakali and his brother are stagnated in their football careers. More National team involvement will help for sure, like in this clear case of Peter Olayinka. God Bless you brother(Akp). Sweet AFCON for Naija guys and the Coaching crew. Greater days await the Super Eagles for sure, With or without Marksman Victor Osimhen.
