‘I Love Attacking Football’ –Peseiro Unveils Plans For Super Eagles

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has expressed his love for attacking football, reports Completesports.com.

The Super Eagles are noted for their attacking brand of football.

The West Africans exhibited that in their 2-1 defeat to the El Tri of Mexico on Sunday.

Peseiro hinted that he is not willing to jettison that in subsequent outings.

My philosophy as a coach is to play attacking football,” Peseiro after the game against Mexico.

“I love my team to score and pressure the opponent, this is the best way to unsettle your opponent and win games.

“That is how we played in the second half against Mexico.

“And we will work more ahead of the Ecuador game.”

That’s the spirit; the best form of defence is to attack!

    God bless the SE
    God bless Peseiro
    God bless Nigeria

Sure attacking football is the best, but sometimes you have to study your opponent because some teams unless you contain them and use counter attack

  • I wish and hope that this feeling and the believe I’m beginning to have in this man continues.
Naija pattern of play is attacking style, that’s why we have more of attacking players out there.
Rohr really tried as a Coach but what most people hate about him is his being too defensive causing players like Simon to be struggling under him and even Aribo, Also his reasons back then to prefer players like Shehu to Ebuehi and Awaziem to Aina but if this Paseiro of a man really means business, then we are on the right path, may be onuachu will have his way this time. Equardor’s game on mind then we’ll wait till other regulars arrive and see what he can really do.
I hope and pray it really work out this time.

  • God blesss Peseiro.

You are saying what we have in mind

  • Every football loving person loves attacking football, the problem with SE is do we have the players that can do the job. Our midfield is always thin and that is not helping, we need to to first find the right players not assigning players to play out of position and expect miracle.
We currently have more than enough attackers and wide forwards/wingers but thin in the middle and need two or more CD.
Hope the news coaching team can solve this.

Nigerians love Attacking Football including myself but I am yet to get over Amaju Pinnick.

Top marks @Endurance. Imagine if Peseiro had taken over before the Afcon, it would have been a different story. I and I stopped believing in Pinnick.

  • My Wish for Super Eagles is that we always parade our best legs, these boys career’s will not last forever and it will be a shame if we don’t witness the devastation we will cause teams with our full strength squad blended and gelling together, God’s knows this is my wish!

    • This is our golden generation and it is high time they blended them together for consecutive games… Let the NPFL players fight tooth and nail to be promoted to the SE with dominance on the African continent i.e. CHAN and Caf club comps. It is so wrong and sad that they are being selected purely because they are NPFL players that is the biggest definition of credibility or lack thereof

I think I am loving the vibe JP is dishing out, confidence is number one before any game/battle… I just hope we continue from where we stopped in nga/mex game and improve better and win games… God bless super eagles

Nigerians are made to be watching eye sore build up at dawn Nigeria time when other teams are preparing for the Ultimate. Pinnick Juju don humble majority and made us forget that the problem is still pending. Not against the new coach but I have a feeling that we are still rounding circle. If I say I’m excited with latest development then I will be lying to Myself Shikena!

You people will not calm down and watch the situation of things before you make hasty comments. Number 2 Nigeria problem is fans, after government, not even pinnick. Everybody want attacking football including me, buh not every coach can blend it with defencive compatibility. Not a bad performance against Mexico buh it will be too early to start singing praise of anyone.

    Pinnick out!!!

We played just one game with fringe players…and you guys have started all these praises…..the same thing you guys did with Eguavoen….Se ara yin ya sha? If the change is that fast, we would have won Afcon and qualified for WC. Yes, the guys did well against Mexico, but come on! We really haven’t seen anyone’s capability from that game. However, I’m also positive, even though I’m not sure anything good can come of of Pinnick. Go bless Nigeria.

    • Lol…”However , I’m also positive” which makes you the same as us.
What most people are saying is if he can bring all these his plans to reality, good for us.
Or may be we all have good visons than you do.
