‘I Love These Kinds Of players’ — Ranieri Hails Dennis After Netting 6th EPL Goal

Watford manager Claudio Ranieri has praised Emmanuel Dennis, after continuing his goal scoring form by netting his sixth league goal this season in Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Vicarage Road.

Dennis scored in his third straight league game after drawing Watford level, cancelling out Mason Mount’s opener.

Moroccan forward Hakim Ziyech then got the winner for the league leaders with a superb volley.

Despite the defeat, Ranieri praised Dennis for his quality in front of goal.

He also showered plaudits on every Watford player for their efforts.

“I am very happy with Emmanuel because straight away he wants to do something, I love these kinds of players,” Ranieri said after the game.

“He knows where the goal is and goes there straight away. But I think all the players put in fantastic performances.

“We continue to believe in our job. We are working very well and I hope our fans are proud of us, because we pushed the champions of Europe in every situation.”

  • Another confirmation of rohr’s selfishness and corruption.

No invitation for Dennis but an invitation for retired ighalo and ineffective shehu. The truth will never die. It will always live. Keshi’s corruption was made public after his death. Siasia faced his own. Salisu Yusuf was caught red handed

Rohr will be exposed after his sack. He used to be selfless but the Nigerian spirit entered him. He began to call black white.

If Dennis was indisciplined, but he is doing very well, can’t you look for a way to help him? So you prefer bringt in players who are no good at all into rhe team.

What was Dennis complaining about? Has anybody asked him. He was complaining about rohr’s partiality and rigidity and corruption.the guy saw it then. Now we can all see it now.

The truth will never die no matter how some people dress it here.

Note: I come here to enjoy myself and say my mind so I don’t come back to my comments to read feedbacks. I said that so that you don’t waste to abuse or curse me because if comments. I won’t see them. So don’t waste your time.

    • Even if you are better than Messi and Ronaldo combined, and can score six goals every match you play but you don’t have a good attitude, you don’t respect the coach, you don’t regard your teammates, you don’t behave professionally etc, I will surely support the coach not to invite you. For me, it is even better for us to lose than invite you. Because, your coming could destabilise, derail and cause disharmony in the team

You’re on it bro. Indisciplined players are not needed in the Eagles regardless of how many goals the score in a match. I like the way he plays, however if his presence will bring destabilization to the team the best thing to do would be to leave him out.

Ranieri publicly confessing his love for THE MENACE. I no blame am.
    Who no like better thing?
Indeed, Dennis has been at it for a while now. Still recall his exploits against Real Madrid in the Champions League a few years back. His reputation as a menace did not start with Watford.
He will be a welcome addition to the SE, for sure. Imagine the menace in the attack alongside Osimhen. Hmmmm, wahala unlimited!

  • To think some persons think this Dennis guy isn’t good enough for the Super Eagles but some Ighalo, Shehu etc are is jarring.

If Rohr is still at the helms, one already has an almost accurate idea of those who will make the final cut to the AFCON from his purported 40-man list submitted to the NFF.

Can we enthrone pure merit and nothing but merit?

  • @Sammy and @MONKEY POST Oya come and see what a World Class unbiased coach who is not racisit has to say about Dennis. seeing as though you want to crucify one of our current Shining star for your mediocre Captain.

Nigerians like to live in the past hence when you go home you will find unfinished infrastructure left standing for years only in Naija!!! SMH!!!!! because the money has been pocketed then the excuse is “well we are getting to it” SHAMBOLIC NATION!!!!!!!!

I will continue to repeat the same thing the combination of Dennis, Awo, Osimehen, Kalu, Sadiq and Sammy wouid be too much for any defenders to handle, we just need a good coach to bring the best out of them. Putting Nigerians hope on Iwobi, iheanacho, Ighalo, musa, onuachu I laugh ooooo. Rohr, Pinnick and Rohr cheerleaders has a choice, they either go to gun fight with brooms or with gun blazing.

    Have a choice

  • Dennis 2 years ago

Apparently, Dennis, lookman, Ovie ejaria, sadiq umar, Cyril dessers are all part of the provisional 40 man list. Also, the ideal based keeper is part of the list too

Dennis was invited for Super Eagles match and told to proceed to for U-23…he enquired to know he was being picked out and that was the end of his super Eagles dream under Rohr even if will start playing better than Messi… Rohr does not love the happiness of Nigeria football public and being a mercenary, he can never love Nigeria more than Nigerians… He came to make his retirement money and does not give a hoot what sort of football we play. Being constantly embarrassed by small nations and minnows… Serves NFF right that the man is refusing to go… next time they well get a real coach not a quack and stooge!

    • @JimmyBall another lie middle has been thrown o. Which tournament or matches are U-23 team prepared or are preparing to play??? Your lies never cease abi??? And who is the coach for U-23 again that was looking for Dennis??

      • Shut up if u don’t no soccer,, he was for indiscipline during Olympic qualifiers,, Dennis or not,, rorh has done his best nd has nothing more to offer

    • NaijaEaglesFan 2 years ago

Rher invited Dennis for a match because he was impressed with the performances he put up for his Belgium club (club Bruge) only to tell him to head to under 23?. What a load of crap!!! Who do you think believes such nonsense?

Our people never stop to lie. What game was U23 playing at that time, what tournament and against which country?

If you want to lie, it’s your prerogative but at least make it sound a little believable. I’ve read too many versions of why Dennis never gets an invite after his last time with the Eagles. Some said he questioned the coach’s selection method, some said he claimed to have turned down the coach’s suggestion that he change his agent to someone the coach is associated to, and now this.

Give a dog a bad name to justify the killing of the dog that’s what our people do and are currently doing at this point in time.

What happened was that he was invited along with Osimhen and Chukwueze to the SuperEagles I think that was the game against Seychelles at home. Then Dennis, Osimhen and Chukwueze were all told to join the U23 team in the make or mar return leg for U23 AFCON qualifier after we’ve lost the first leg 2-0 away. They went to U23 team and delivered the needed result to progress by beating Libya 4-0. Osimhen scored a hat trick in that game. Awoniyi was in that U23 team as well. However, JimmyBall forgot that Dennis was later invited for the Sierra Leone double header and featured in the return leg in Freetown. The fact remains that since that international window Dennis has moved from Brugge to Koln and was not in good form over the last season and half until this season that he moved to Watford. Now with the kind of season he’s having he can never be ignored and he’s already in the 40 man provisional list. So cause for alarm. #Glory in Cameroon# We’re coming home with the AFCON.

      **So no cause for alarm**

      • Thanks @Aphillydegreat for reminding me. @P28, I hope you are ready?

        • chuxs 2 years ago
