I Love To Play Burna Boy’s ‘For My Hand’ Song  –England Coach, Wiegman

England women’s national football team coach, Sarina Wiegman has declared that she loves listening to Nigeria’s Burna Boy’s ‘For My Hand’ song.

The track ‘For My Hand’ is from Burna Boy’s sixth studio album, ‘Love, Damini,’ released in 2022. It has garnered over 160 million streams on Spotify.

In a chat with Sky Sports, Sarina Wiegman, shared her most played song of 2023 on Spotify.

Wiegman disclosed that the collaborative hit ‘For My Hand’ by Nigerian singer Burna Boy and British superstar Ed Sheeran is her top-played song of the year.

She expressed her surprise, saying, “I didn’t expect this so I don’t know the name of the song, But it is the song with Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran. I definitely played that song the most.”

Burna Boy’s music is mainly pop and Afrobeats. He describes his music as Afro-fusion, which blends the genres R&B, hip hop, dancehall, and reggae.

August Brown of the Los Angeles Times describes Burna Boy’s sound as “savvy and modern but undistracted by obvious crossover moves”.
