This guy is a goal poacher, anywhere he goes, it’s goals galore. For someone to excel in both the highest and lowest level speaks volumes.
Continue enjoying yourself Jude. Your haters can go to hell
Scoring goals with how many trophies maybe this Saudi league that was almost won before he came will be his first gold. They’re lucky he didn’t start the season with them else by now they’ll be wallowing at 9th position after he don miss open net against big teams and score hattrick against bottom teams, I know Ighalo kind of strikers too well. But on the good side he is having a decent money making career which is more important for his pocket. Nobody hates him he just doesn’t deliver trophies.
Great striker, he scores everywhere he goes. Even if you take him to mars, he’d still score. You just a natural striker. Keep it up bro, rohr’s eyes are on you and a return to the national team would be a great idea. At least, u need to retire honorably after your outstanding services to your country.
@oakfield this guy is just too much….
Odion Jude IGOALO…. The proven NET BURSTER….
E be like say na him name dey worriam….
Hahahahaha…na wetin cut @Jimmyball and in people heart be this wey make dem wan get High BP the other day……LMAO. Whether at Man U, or at Watford or at Shenhua or at Ajegunle all stars….Odion dey net goals with reckless abandon….LMAO. Odion wan spoil market for them. If status quo remains, and Ighalo venture changes his mind on his retirement…no show for Ajayi and Okpotu again be that. Haven’t y’all noticed the sudden rise in frequency of Junior Ajayi news coverage on CSN of late…..LMAO. They think we dont know where it is all coming from….LMAO
@Dr.Drey… I would not lie to you… Odion Ighalo is a proven goalscorer hahaha! Let’s put sentiment aside. His recent explosion in Saudi Arabia calls for second thought about the Ighalo question… I will never lie to myself when doing that will only make me uncomfortable within my own skin. Ighalo got angry and called time on his national team involvement because we the fans insulted him so much for mistakes that even the best performers in the game sometimes make… I have concluded that Ighalo loves Nigeria and Super Eagles and if he is dominating Saudi Arabian league then he deserves a careful cost-benefit analyzes as to his place in the current Eagles squad… please my fellow hardliners on this forum… my comrades-in-arms… @Collins id, @Chuks Haifa, @Omo9ja,@Kenneth,@Proudly9ja… We owe ourselves another surgical introspection on the matter of an Ighalo part_2 in the Super Eagles without jeopardizing the chances and growth of upcoming budding strikers in the mould of Sadiq, Moffi, Osimhen,Awoniyi,Olayinka, Dessers, Onuachu and the rest! Competition is a healthy and beautiful challenge! This is my honest submission this morning… Ighalo is proven!
@JimmyBall, Thank you for such a honest write up above. Kudos
Thank you @Jimmyball for putting sentiments aside on this issue.
@Jimmyball let us not let sentiments cloud our Judgements. Ighalo is proven yes but his recent struggles at the topflight suggests that he has slowed down somewhat and is not the player he was 3 or 4 years ago not to mention agae is not on his side. yes you have players in the mould of Kanu, Yekini and co who still played at the top level past the age of 30 hence they still brought something to the national team every time they were called up. We need not forget Ighalo’s struggles in his last game in a Super Eagles shirt when he really struggled with the pace of the Algerian defenders and could not beat the defensive line ONCE. He retired from the National team by his own doing maybe he forgot that Nigeria is a country blessed with talents. In my honest opinion With all the Talent Nigeria has now in the attacking position it will be CRIMINAL I repeat CRIMINAL and somewhat unjust to deny players that need the exposure for a player that has done what he can and turned his back on national duties once. Then if so people should not insult Josh Maja if he chooses England for Nigeria because Nigeria is busy overlooking him and begging a retired player to come back. Ighalo shold focus on his club career for now.
I am of the opinion, that if ever Ighalo decides to come back, he may only have to be invited for tournaments proper and not qualifiers. And that must only be a case where he is in real top form compared to the other strikers. Bringing Ighalo for qualifying games can create lots of disaffection amongst certain players. There is some really good chemistry in that team at the moment and we must be careful not jeopardize it.
@Jimmyball, nice one.. You have proven that you are a good man by being honest in your assessment.
No one is really clamoring for inclusion of Ighalo, but if he decides to return from international retirement, and the gaffer feels he still needs him in the eagles set up, why not? Every professional player must fight for his starting role competitively. Once again kudos.
The only reason I would support the recall of igahlo back to the team is if the coach will come out and say that the team has a problem with goal scoring or they are not enough good strikers in the Super Eagles (and he cant find any good attackers around the world) and thats why he is recalling ighalo back to the team. But if that isn’t the case, for me ighalo should be left alone to enjoy his retirement and money making transfer to saudi Arabia where he is doing what he knows how to do best, score goals and earn big bucks!
See una person score 2 goals for Saudi league make coach invite am. Na so Nigeria national team don be na. Who score 36goals and assist for serbia wasn’t invited o. This country Nigeria have a way of thinking will this happen in Spain or Brazil? Nigeria we don’t have values next time its Vietnam.
