Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his desire to remain at Celtic beyond this summer, Completesports.com reports.
The Nigeria international joined the Scottish Premiership champions on a free transfer last summer after leaving Spanish club, Sevilla.
Iheanacho signed a one-year deal with Celtic, with the club retaining the option to extend it for an additional year.
The 29-year-old’s future remains uncertain after an injury-plagued campaign hampered by recurring hamstring issues.
The striker, however, made a significant impact, scoring nine goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Hoops.

Iheanacho is now awaiting further communication from the club regarding his future.
“I hope I’m still a Celtic player at the start of next season, but I leave that to the club to sort out,” Iheanacho told Premier Sports.
