Kelechi Iheanacho got good rating for putting up a commendable display in Leicester City’s 1-0 home defeat to Aston Villa in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Iheanacho was given the nod to lead Leicester attack following injury to first choice striker Jamie Vardy.
He was later replaced by Algerian striker Islam Slimani in the 71st minute.
And according to the ratings compiled by Leicester Mercury, Iheanacho got six out of 10.
Commenting on Iheanacho’s performance, Leicester Mercury wrote:”His hold-up play was very good in the first half, the Nigerian showing strength in possession and intelligent passes. But, like Perez, he wasn’t involved nearly enough in the second half.”
Leicester City were hit with a late goal by Chelsea on loan midfielder Ross Barkley in added-time which condemned the Foxes to another home defeat.
For Villa it is now a fourth consecutive Premier League wins so far this season.

When he puts on a Leicester Shirt he is always forgetting that it is Because Vardy is not fit, And he should show more desire. This guy is just letting his leicester City career slip away. the fact that Slimani was subbed on for Iheanacho is a dissapointment CSN people wey sabi ball suppose know nah.. Look guys Slimani’s career at leicester was done when Iheanacho signed 3 or so years ago because of Iheanacho, slimani was sold off. now he is replacing Iheanacho 3 years on because, Iheanacho can’t find the back of the net and is honestly getting slower every game?. LOOK AT CSN I WON”T BE SUPRISED IF SLIMANI STARTS FOR LEICESTER CITY NEXT GAME. CSN PLEASE STOP DECIEVEING PEOPLE. IHEANACHO WAS SUPPOSED TO SCORE YESTERDAY PERIOD THE FACT HE DIDN’T is not good for his chances going forward period. The guy needs to show more fighting spirit and desire, he always look like he just ate 3 big plates of Akpu and ofe oha before every game.
