Mikel Arteta says he is frustrated with Arsenal’s defeat to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
Alexander Isak’s first half goal was enough to earn the Magpies a hard-fought 1-0 win against Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal.
It is the Gunners’Second league defeat losing 2-0 at Bournemouth.
“We didn’t find enough answers to a lot of the questions and situations that you have to resolve better,” Arteta told TNT Sports. “So I’m very frustrated.”
Up next for Arsenal are huge fixtures against Inter Milan and Chelsea in the Champions League and Premier League respectively.
When asked how he would lift his team ahead of the big matches coming up, Arteta said:”It’s time to do it on the pitch,” he said.
“You know, we can say whatever we want. Probably we’re not going to find the right words today because after losing a game, you are hurt. But we have to show it on the pitch on Wednesday night.”
