Jose Mourinho, the manager of Benfica, has reiterated that Real Madrid has not contacted him about a return to the club.
Reports suggest that while talks might not have occurred with Mourinho directly, discussions between Real Madrid and his representatives, including agent Jorge Mendes, have been active.
While under contract at Benfica, Mourinho’s deal reportedly includes a clause allowing him to leave if a ~€3 million release fee is paid within 10 days of the season’s end.
Speaking ahead of today’s league clash against Braga, the Portuguese tactician stated that Los Blancos are yet to mak a move for him.
