Nigeria’s Falconets will discover their group-stage opponents for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup on Friday, May 15, Completesports.com reports.
Moses Aduku’s side qualified for the tournament following a 3-2 aggregate win over the Young Scorchers of Malawi.
The Falconets have qualified for every edition of the competition.
The draw will be held in Łódź, one of the tournament’s host cities.
FIFA announced that the ceremony will be attended by women’s football legends, as well as guests from the host country.
Former player and current Poland coach Nina Patalon and French icon Laura Georges will be on stage, representing women’s football and highlighting the importance of the tournament for the growth of the sport.
24 countries will participate in the biennial competition.
It will run from September 5 to 27 across the Polish cities of Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź and Sosnowiec.
