But the gaffer has now hinted that the player will be back on grass on Friday (today).

“Thankfully [Dennis Praet’s injury], it’s not as bad [as first feared]. There’s was a lot of pain but no ligament damage. He trained well today,”Rodgers said of Leicester City’s Emirates fourth round tie at Walsall

“[Wilfred Ndidi will] be out on the grass tomorrow [Friday].”

The 25-year-old has made 16 league appearances for the Foxes this season.

So the SE team trained with 2 strikers upfront the whole week only for the incompetent overrated opportunist Egu-failure (I still dont know why and how that dude is still occupying the office of the TD of Nigerian football till date) to scatter everything 2 hours before the game after coming to read play station lineups from CSN fantasy football matchday coaches here …..LMAOooo.

Little wonder Ighalo was able to create a chance (within the first 4 of the 10 minutes he played over both legs) which Osimhen sent to Niger state with a meaningless bicycle kick when a simple chestdown would have set him up for a goal.

Sorry to dig up old wounds o.

But like I always say, time/posterity is always the greatest judge of truth.

We wanted a Nigeria coach but Pinick being the Armtwister that he has always been brought back Augustine Eguaveon who has failed with anything coaching he ever touched regarding Nigeria national team… He was not a great player in his day and it is on record he failed at every national team management position to qualify for a major tournament each time…

We called for Amuneke/Manu/Ugbade/Finidi mix anyhow it cld be constituted but Amaju gave us Eguaveon…

It’s on record I preferred a Nigeria handling the national team even till date, but not a recurring failure of a coach.

Most of wondered why call up Ighalo if you won’t use him in the games… Awoniyi, Onuachu and Olayinka were not called up. If we need goals you have to play 2 strikers and Osimhen/Ighalo or Osimhen/Awoniyi would have gotten us that world cup berth.

But alas… We can only now keep thinking about the “what ifs”

That ticket was ours for the taking… but never with Eguaveon in-charge, his cluelesness against Tunisia at the Nations Cup was all still too recent for us to have known we did not need his confusion…

If our football house was run by sane people. Eguavoen will never smell the gate of the football house talk less of having even a janitorial position in the technical department but its Nigeria where things are run like we are in a jungle

Removing Ademola Lookman who was actually tormenting the Ghanians to the point of earning a penalty was one heck of a give away technical deficiency by the technical crew. At that point I totally gave up hope of qualifying.
