Trabzonspor interim coach Hüseyin Çimşir has allayed fears that Paul Onuachu could be set for a spell on the sidelines after the striker picked up an injury during Sunday’s 5-0 thrashing of Gençlerbirliği.
Onuachu, who scored twice in the Turkish Süper Lig encounter, was substituted shortly before half-time after sustaining the injury.
The Nigeria international was replaced by new signing Franculino Dju in the 44th minute.
Onuachu opened the scoring for Trabzonspor just five minutes into the game before doubling the hosts’ advantage in the 22nd minute.

However, Çimşir has played down concerns over the striker’s condition, insisting that the injury is not serious and expressing confidence that Onuachu will be available for their next match.
“I don’t think it’s anything serious. There’s no problem,” Çimşir was quoted as saying by
NTV Spor.
Onuachu has scored twice in four league appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.
Trabzonspor will return to Süper Lig action away to Konyaspor in their next league fixture.
