Italy Legend Bergomi: Osimhen Is Best Striker In Italy

Italy legend Guiseppe Bergomi has rated Victor Osimhen the best striker in Serie A, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen has hugged the headlines for his superb displays for Napoli this season.

The Nigeria international has scored nine goals in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei in the current campaign.

“That the whole department can go into crisis due to Osimhen’s revs. They will have to raise the defensive line and there, in those spaces, he can hurt,” Bergomi said as quoted by Stylo24.

“On the other hand, he [Osimhen] just needs a long throw that he leaves and you don’t catch him anymore. I still remember that at the beginning Spalletti told me that he still had to grow, but now I see that he has found sensitivity in playing the ball on the ground.

“Osimhen. It is one that allows you to play with even lower defense, because when you throw it and go. Like Inter did last year with Lukaku.

“Mine was another [form of] football, but Osimhen gave me a good impression, he has speed and physical strength. I must admit that he is the striker who has impressed me the most in this championship.

”It is true that in the matches in which the level has risen a little, the level is more difficult, and I am thinking of the challenges against Juventus and Rome, but on Sunday Inter will miss [Stefan] de Vrij, who commands the line.”

Lol,I actually like odion ighalo due to his humility but his decision to come back is a big mistake on his part and his performance contributed for rohr”s one leg out of the team.i heard a coach has been contacted but will soon be announced,I heard it from peterside idah on supersports.

I’m yet to establish any basis for people’s belief that Ighalo’s return to SE is bound to be an endeavor in futility. It all depends on how his own emotions weigh in. But I believe this guy still has that flame that if combined with Osimhen’s strength and all-round performance, our opponents will surely be in big trouble. They both caused CV all sorts of troubles with their direct runs and how they swapped positions from time to time. They only need to build that partnership, that understanding, and with a strong midfield behind them, where they consistent supply of incisive passes are regularly coming,we can stand up and look any foe in the face.

“Osimhen need Ighalo to help him score goals” alias Rohr9:25 quote…

So humble. Osimhen needs consistent training, listen to the advice the coach gives him and with the assist he gets from his mates amd continuous hard work, I’m sure he’s certainly on the track to rule the World of round leather.
