‘It’s Just Another Game’ –Lookman Plays Down Super Eagles, Black Stars Rivalry

Ademola Lookman says there is nothing special in the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana and insisted the upcoming games between both countries is ”just another game”.

The two West African giants are seeking place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Super Eagles and the Black Stars will do battle in the first leg of the qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi on Friday.

The return leg is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week Tuesday.

Lookman, who is looking forward to making his debut for the Super Eagles in the encounter has however played down the rivalry between both countries.

“It’s just another game, there is a lot of expectation on the game not to put any pressure on ourselves but to go out and enjoy ourselves,” the Leicester City winger told Naija Sports.
