Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi has lauded Arsenal’s performance in their 4-2 win against Valencia in Thursday’s night’s Europa League, semi-final, second leg clash at the Mestalla Stadium, Valencia, reports Completesports.com.
Unai Emery’s men made it to the final of the competition 7-3 on aggregate having won the first leg 3-1 last week at the Emirates Stadium.
Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a hat-trick for the Gunners in the encounter with Alexandre Lacazette scoring the other goal.
Iwobi who was an unused substitute in the highly entertaining encounter took to the social media to celebrate his team’s victory against the Spanish opponents.
”Top Performance From The Boys Tonight🔥. Final Push #LetsGo 🔴⚪️ #UEL,” Iwobi tweeted after the game.
Iwobi has played 10 times for the North London club in the Europa League this season and has one goal to his credit.
Arsenal will face London rivals Chelsea in the final of the competition on May 29 at the Olympic Stadium, Baku, Azerbaijan.
