Huddersfield’s commercial director Sean Jarvis says it is ‘phenomenal’ just how many supporters have renewed their season tickets. The Terriers have endured a difficult season in the Premier League, winning just three of their 31 games to date and they sit rock bottom of the standings and 16 points adrift of safety, meaning relegation seems an inevitability.

The West Yorkshire outfit have already started planning for life next season and Jarvis admits he cannot believe how many supporters have renewed their season tickets, labelling the loyalty they have shown as ‘phenomenal’. “With everything that’s gone on we were always a bit nervous about what the season card take up would be,” Jarvis told the club’s media channel, HTTV.
“But now we’ve come to that renewal date I’ve got to say it’s been nothing short of phenomenal. “I think the loyalty that’s come out of our fans for the season card renewal has been absolutely incredible. “90 odd per cent renewals tells you more than enough about what our fans think about Huddersfield Town football club.”
Jarvis feels having the backing of the supporters next season is going to be crucial, as, after failing to win any of their opening 10 league games this term, the Terriers will be hoping to make a fast start. “I think, for me, that then gives us a real launch pad for next season,” Jarvis added. “Irrespective of where we are, having 18 to 20,000 people inside that stadium that are all shouting for Huddersfield Town is what we want.”
