Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has warned Arsenal fans not to get over excited with Gabriel Jesus’s early season form.
Recall that the former Manchester City forward has made a brilliant start to his Arsenal career since joining in a £45million deal from the Etihad earlier in the summer.
Jesus has netted twice in the Gunners’ 100% start to the Premier League season.
But Ferdinand reminded them that the likes of Erling Haaland are still better than the Brazilian.
The former England international said that Arsenal fans have a tendency of overhyping players.
“I think that Jesus’s impact has been unreal,” Ferdinand said on FIVE.
“I think that he has been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do.
“When you have got [Erling] Haaland banging in a hat-trick at the weekend and you are going, ‘Oh, Jesus is overshadowing him still’, what are you talking about?”

RIO stop comparing the two and downplaying one. It is sad that people will not leave other team players alone. Gabriel Jesus is a player that I would love to have in my team one day just like I will also love Halaand. Comparing them is needless because one has his team at first place with less goals and the other is a personal banger that I love.
