Nigerian winger Kazeem Olaigbe scored as Cercle Brugge defeated Beerschot 4-1 in the Belgian Jupiler in Sunday.
It was the 21-year-old’s first goal in three league appearances for Cercle Brugge this season and also his second in all competitions so far.
Olaigbe scored in the 22nd minute to put Cercle Brugge 2-0 ahead after Brazilian player Bruninho had given them the lead on 10 minutes.
In the 59th minute he was then withdrawn for Alan Minda.
It is a first win in three league games for Cercle Brugge who move up to 10th in the league table.
Olaigbe began his career with Belgian giants Anderlecht before joining Southampton in the summer of 2019.
On 15 February 2022, he signed a contract extension with Southampton until June 2024.
At international level he has represented Belgium from U-15s up to U-21s.
