Samuel Kalu is a major doubt for the Super Eagles 2021 AFCON qualifiers after going off injured in Bordeaux’s 3-1 win at Dijon on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Bordeaux confirmed Kalu’s injury in a Tweet on their verified Twitter handle during the game.
Kalu was replaced just 16 minutes of the game by Nicolas de Preville.

He was included in Super Eagles’ 24-man squad for the qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho this month.
Prior to Sunday’s win, Bordeaux had lost seven and drawn one of their last eight games.
They are now 11th on 36 points in the Ligue 1 table.

This guy with injuries self, anyway it will be a great opportunity for either olayinka or onyekuru.
I hope he recovers in time for the qualifiers but if he doesn’t they are alot of players waiting to fill his spot.
I wish you a speedy recovery Kalu. Injury is part of the game. Get well soon.
However, this is what I’m saying, relying and recycling players won’t help Super Eagles coach to develop the team.
Inviting players and putting them on the bench or giving them few minutes is not the way to go either.
Naco is in form and other players but can they bring the same or do the same thing for Nigeria?
Something is not working well in the Super Eagles.
If Sodiq fails to replicate his form for Super Eagles, don’t complain my people.
Sadiq is tested and trusted at the Olympic games under Siasia.
Also, @CSN, are you part of Nigeria problems or solution to the problems of Nigeria?
Are we not allowed to express our feelings anymore?
CSN deleted my comment because of Amaju.
Is Amaju Pinnick worthy to be celebrated? CAF kicked him out of his office. Is that the person you are celebrating in Nigeria?
I noticed that CSN have changed “Covid-19 is real to Amaju Pinnick”
Does that mean if he is doing something bad I have no right to talk or to mention his name?
He brought Oga Rohr to Nigeria and Super Eagles regressing after the world cup qualifiers. Eagles is not go forward or backward. Where are we now? We don’t know.
It is a shame that our oppressors have brainwashed Nigerians this is why we don’t know our rights in this country.
I will continue to fight for Nigeria. I’m sorry for Nigeria. Other African countries are developing every day but for we Nigerians, we still believe that we are the best in terms of what? Electricity, good roads, security and infrastructure ba?
Keep celebrating our oppressors and carbals.
Ask yourself how much you are earning every month and compare that to these wicked people that milking from you and I.
From politician to CAF from CAF to FIFA nothing wrong in that if Mr. Amaju Pinnick is trustworthy but he is not and sooner or later, he will tarnish Nigeria image like the way he did with CAF.
CSN, don’t start a war you can not finish. A word is a enough for the wise.
We are taking Nigeria back from our oppressors and we will use the power of social media to expose our bad leaders/rulers in Nigeria.
I know you will delete this my comment CSN but I won’t stop saying the truth because we are tired of this carbals.
Whether they like it or not, by God’s grace Nigeria will be a better place to live. Wake up Nigerians. God bless Nigeria!!!
THANK GOD THAT WE ARE NOT IN D ERA OF OKOCHA-OLISEH-AMOKACHI. ANYONE INJURED, D SUPER EAGLE COLLAPSED/SUFFERED. THIS TIME AROUND WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH.
