Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has confirmed that contract extension talks with the club started last week following their 5-1 Bundesliga opening win against Stuttgart.
The first official meeting took place the previous week, though Kane emphasized that sorting out all the details will take time rather than just a week or two.

At 33 years old, Kane acknowledged that this will likely be his last major contract, but noted there is no panic or rush from either side.
Both the player and the club are relaxed about the situation, and Kane has expressed his desire to continue his career in Munich.
“I’m 33. It’s probably going to be, not my last contract. But it’s a big contract for me to sign,” Kane told the club’s website.
“They need to make sure I’m happy. They obviously need to make sure they’re happy… There’s no panic from either side.

“I’m sure we’ll get to a point where both sides are happy.”
The England captain scored 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga games last term, the third most in a German top-flight campaign, while winning the league and cup double.
In total, he scored 73 goals for club and country last season, including six at the World Cup as England made it to the semi-finals.
