Jurgen Klopp’s agent has dismissed speculation linking the former Liverpool manager with a move to Real Madrid, insisting there is no possibility of him taking charge at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The rumours were sparked after presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme claimed he planned to make contact next week with club legend Raul Gonzalez, intending to convince the German to become Real Madrid’s new head coach should he win the upcoming elections.
A statement from Riquelme’s office read: “We know that Jurgen Klopp has publicly stated that he has no intention of returning to the dugout in the short term, and that he has turned down numerous offers.
“That is precisely why we believe the challenge of Real Madrid is different. Because there are great clubs, but there is only one Real Madrid. There is only one institution capable of uniting tradition and future, values and ambition, passion and excellence.

“For that reason, if the members grant me their trust this Sunday, on Monday June 8, Raul Gonzalez Blanco [Real Madrid’s sporting director] will contact Jurgen Klopp to convey to him personally our sporting project and our wish for him to be the one to lead, from the bench, our new era at Real Madrid.”
However, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has firmly ruled out any such scenario. Speaking to Sky Sport Germany (via Tribal Football), he said: “It’s annoying. He’s not planning to return to coaching a club and is happy at Red Bull.”
The statement effectively shuts down speculation over a potential return to elite club management for Klopp, who has been enjoying life away from the dugout since leaving Liverpool.

This Riquelme worse pass Nigeria politician. But one thing is eye catching:
Even though CS didn’t explicitly write it, over 100000 members, I read elsewhere, are expected to vote for just one club’s president.
But for NFF, it has only been State FA chairmen voting for NFF presidents where some have held their states hostage for at least 2 decades as chairmen.
How will they be modern in their football thinking?
Yet, the same NFF is afraid to change their statutes in 2026 so that more simps like the fa chairmen of states can continue to be elected into the federation.
