Koepka Excited To Play In Saudi Arabia

Brooks Koepka is looking forward to lining up at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in the inaugural Saudi International.

The European Tour’s desert swing has seen a new addition this year, with a trip to Saudi Arabia from January 31 to February 3, while the players will head to Qatar and Oman in March.

The event had already attracted a stellar field and will follow on from the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and Omega Dubai Desert Classic – two stalwarts of the early season.

World numbers one and three – Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson – will be teeing it up, with fifth-ranked Bryson Dechambeau also been confirmed.

Koepka will be taking part and the three-time major winner is relishing the chance to get back on a tour where it all began.

“I started my professional career in Europe and the diversity of tournaments and experiences I enjoyed has undoubtedly helped broaden my game and helped me to perform on the international stage,” he said. “It’s always exciting to line up against the best players in the world and I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of a new country.”
