Former Liverpool forward, Dirk Kuyt, has welcomed Netherlands forward Cody Gakpo to Anfield following his transfer from Eredivisie outfit PSV.
Gakpo navigated a switch to the Premier League giants following his exploits at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Kuyt who also donned the No 18 jersey that Gakpo has been assigned congratulated his countryman after the move.

Gakpo scored thrice in five appearances at Qatar 2022. He found the net nine times and has provided 12 assists in 14 Eredivisie games for PSV this season.
The Netherlands lost 4-3 in a penalty shootout to eventual winners Argentina after a 2-2 scoreline on December 9 at the Lusail Stadium.
