Samuel Chukwueze featured for Villareal who missed the chance to close the gap in the race for a top four place, as they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Sevilla in the LaLiga on Monday, Completesports.com reports.
Going into Monday’s game Villareal needed to secure all three points but twice surrendered their lead to settle for a share of the spoils.
Chukwueze who was in the starting eleven in his 30th LaLiga appearance was later replaced by Javier Ontiveros in the 72nd minute.

Paco Alcacer opened scoring for Villareal in the 18th minute before Sergio Escuderos equalised for Sevilla on 39 minutes.
On the stroke of half-time Pau Torres made it 2-1 to Villareal but Munir El Haddadi drew Sevilla level on 63 minutes.
The draw saw Villareal take their points to 48 in sixth position and are four points off fourth spot currently occupied by Atletico Madrid.
While Sevilla are in third place on 53 points and 12 points behind Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are tied on 65 points.
