Charles Leclerc says he is aiming to give Ferrari a problem this season by producing some good results from the off.
Leclerc is set to embark on his maiden Formula 1 campaign with Ferrari after it was confirmed in September last year he would be replacing Kimi Raikkonen, who is now with Alfa Romeo Racing.

The 21-year-old from Monegasque looked impressive during the recent outing in Barcelona and topped day two of pre-season testing on Tuesday, with his performance giving team bosses food for thought.
Ferrari’s new boss, Mattia Binotto, has said championship focus will be on Sebastian Vettel this season, saying “if there are particular situations our priority will be Sebastian”.
Although happy to go along with team orders, Leclerc says he is still hoping to catch the eye. “Obviously, I will be happy if I get used to this car as soon as possible and that I’m straight on the pace,” he was quoted as saying by Sk Sports.
“But I’m realistic, too, it’s only my second season in Formula 1 and I have a lot to learn.
“There’s a long road ahead but I’m pushing to be as ready as possible for the first race, and if Mattia has the problem to manage two quick drivers, then it’s a good sign for me.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
