  • Yes, let him move. Then we can see his true quality.

  • Old news or should I say old rumour!

  • Yo ugo u don’t need to curse that man like that.u are rude son.

  • BigCole 2 years ago

I was watching the young boy’s highlights he’s is getting there honestly and among the suitors I will prefer he chose Ajax for the continuation of his development.

  • Amoo moving to a top5 league is just a matter of time……He has the quality to succeed in a top5 league…..He has pace,he has skills, his finishing is top quality……Amoo is destined for the top.

  • chuks haifa 2 years ago

He better go to Dortmund sharp sharp. They develop young players. I doubt if Leicester is a good choice for him now.

  • Abdul Handsy 2 years ago

The young man is a top talented players… He is that no. 10 missing in the present super eagles set up.

Last week he was reportedly won the player of the season in his club (Harmmarby). A matter of time before make the big switch to a more advanced club in central Europe..

Super eagles line-up as follows in the future will make a whole sense:

    ………….. Okoye………………

    Aina……awaziem…Akpoguma… Zaidu

    ………. Ndidi………Aribo……..

    .. Dennis…. Amoo………. Lookman

    …………….Osimehn…………..

With the following players on the bench:

    Dessers
    Awoniyi
    Iheanacho
    Bassey
    Iwobi
    Onyeka
    Yusuf
    Jittery Ekong
    Uzoho

    • Akanlo Ede 2 years ago

How can you bench Iwobi? He is the best Super Eagles midfielder.

    • pompei 2 years ago

You’re missing some players though – Sam Chukwueze, Sadiq Umar, Leon Balogun and Chidera Ejuke!

      • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

I agree with @Pompei. The players mentioned are also VERY relevant. But since @ABDUL’s team is that of the future, I will leave out Balogun and do everything to get ADARABIOYO. Anthony Izuchukwu and Valentine Ozomwafor (I love that guy and hope he comes good) will be in the squad.

        Others of course should be;
        ADELEYE
        EBUEHI
DELE BASIRU (that guy dominates midfield like a beast. Pls watch READING more and let me knoe what you think)
        OVIE EJARIA
        INNOCENT BONKE
        NWOBODO

Iwobi will sit on the bench for AMOO should tye latter make the leap to a top 10 league. He is that very good.

        • pompei 2 years ago

Anthony Izuchukwu looks like a really good prospect. A ball-playing center back.

    • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

Wow…what a killer first 11 going into the future!

A Gernot Rohr will waste them.

    • JimmyBall 2 years ago

@Abdul Handsy… you know your football. I like your courage this team will kill the regular team Gernot Rohr has been playing for the last five years… replace Joe Aribo with a fit Kingsly Michael… that guy and Bonke, Awazeim and Umeruo were the ones who truly qualify us for playoffs. Our match away to Cape Verde was a much more composed showing by Super Eagles… if not that we won that game, had we slipped to CV away we would have had no chnace mounting any real challenge back…

      • I will take chukwueze over Dessers any day and Ejuke needs to be on the bench. But in all honestly these are the types of debates we should be having as Fun loving football fans. Not pulling our hair in frustrations as to why bench warmers and old legs are making the team over exciting young talents. I mean it wasn’t so long ago we were complaining that We need our SE players to player regularly and not warm the bench. Now we have them not just playing regularly but being considered Star men in thier respective clubs but now we are going back to the bench warmers of the past and for some besotted reason elevating them as some Gods ogf Nigerian football honestly I am dumb founded really!!.

        • Here is how my list will look..

          Okoye

          Victor Moses ……awaziem…Akpoguma… Zaidu

          Ndidi Onyeka
          Aribo

          Dennis Osimhen Chukwueze

          Bench
          Iwobi
          Lookman
          Etebo (when fit).
          Bassey
          Iheanacho
          Awoniyi
          Ejuke
Dessers or Ighalo (Still better than Onuachu) –
          Balogun
          Ajayi
          Collins
          Aina
          Sadiq

Amoo still has to do a bit more for me – Swedish league not so rugged.

That looks more like it deserving Experience with Crazy youthful talents!!..

Then competition is rife and the stand by list will be loaded with the likes of Amoo and co and if you don’t cut the bench you can be replaced that is what the Germans call “A WELL OILED MACHINE” MENTALILITY

        • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

Sublimely posited. Its a shame that soke forumites ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY (seeing themselves as gods of this forum) relegates healthy debates like this in place of abusive and name calling tantrums.

I completely agree with @Jimmyball’s submission that @Abdul Handsy’s 11 will beat Germot Rohr’s team any day any time.

          For starters, behold GR’s 11;

          Okoye
          Moses simon
          Ndidi
          Aribo
          Iwobi
          Jamilu
          Awaziem
          Ekong
          Balogun
          Ighalo
          Osimhen

Let’s remove his players that are also ABDUL’s and compare those left.

          GR/AH;
          Okoye
          Awaziem
          Ndidi
          Aribo
          Osimhen

Compare and contrast those not in both men 11

          AINA v Moses Simon…=Aina
          JAMILU v SANUSI…
          =SANUSI
          IGALO v DENNIS…
          =DENNIS
          AKPOGUMA v BALOGUN/EKONG…
          =AKPOGUMA
          IWOBI v’AMOO…
          =Debatable

  • I mean Nigeria even with a Coach that has no tactics and just put these boys out and say play oh boy any team way like make dem come dem go chop grass + Sand lol!!!! this is it. Nigeria should not be labouring with these players

And for all those who say Victor Moses should be left in peace. if you are Victor Moses and you gave so much for your bcountry Blood + Sweat and your all single handedly qualifying us for the last world cup al beit with the help of Mikel and Ighalo.. wouldn’t you want your so called coach to reach out and say

“hey man you are doing fantastically well in your club and Nigeria can definitely do with your services would you consider coming out of retirement because we need you?”
DO you honestly think Victor Moses will say No!!. Nigerians are so quick to listing to what corrupt officials say to blind fold them of evil doings it is sad.

I can guarantee you that Victor Moses has not been approached in such a manner. I can put my life on it.

We need Victor Moses, Wilfred Ndidi and Ekong as jiterry as he is is the only experience jittery head we can afford now because 1 he is still a bit reliable and 2 he is still playing at the highest level. This team needs no more experience heads than Ndidi, Victor Moses, Ekong, Balogun and Ighalo (Only over Onuachu). everyother story is a BIG FAT LIE TOLD BY Amaju Pinnick

  • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

    @Ugo..lol
    Victor Moses at right back??

Since we are looking into the future, lets allow him his well deserved rest bro. Aina remains our best RB. to play 30+ league matches back to back in SERIA A and EPL is not beans.

I also agree with the double pivot of NDIDI/ONYEKA but that should be against robust AFRICAN oppositions.

Against sleeky and technical teams I will prefer NDIDI/ARIBO with an IWOBI/AMOO

Swedish league is not inferior please. A very good player in player can cut his teeth in top 5′

If almighty GERMAN MANSCHAFT can cap a player playing in AUSTRIA is it a small NAIJA that will be doing shakara about capping one of the best players in the SWEDISH league???

    • RWB yes that is his position Antonio Conte perfected him in that position. Hence I put Ndidi and Onyeka Manning the fort in front of the 3 in the Even that VM is bombing forward creating chances as we no he is defending well too these days so it will be fine. That team can even deal with France and Brazil.

    • @Mahmud Shuaib Lool Like I said the kind of healthy debate we need for our outstanding talent, that should be proudly paraded by SE to the World… I too would like to see Amoo but I just feel at present. Chukwueze, Dennis, Ejuke and Lookman even Iwobi are still ahead of Amoo in the pecking order who knows that can easily change if he moves to Dortmund in Jan and hits the ground running fingers crossed he does. what a nice headache for an honest coach to have bro.

Victor Moses was deployed as a right wing back by Conte, never as a right back. There is a difference in the 2 positions.
BTW, Own Goal Nigeria have started again. They reported that Rohr has included Victor Moses in his 40 provisional man list. CSN please confirm or deny.

Amoo has been great for Hammarby and he seems to be a real nice and humble lad and no matter which path is in front of him he will always be loved by the club and supporters of Hammarby ⚽
