Leinster Suffer Toner Blow

Leinster have been hit by the news they will have to do without Ireland lock Devin Toner for Saturday’s Pro 14 final with Glasgow. The experienced second-row suffered a knee injury during the playoff semi-final win over rivals Munster and will now miss the clash with the Warriors at Parkhead Stadium in Glasgow.

Joe Tomane (hamstring), Barry Daly (collarbone), Mick Kearney (shoulder), Dan Leavy (knee) and Adam Byrne (quad) are all still big d oubts ahead of the trip to Scotland. However, Leinster, who finished runners-up in the European Champions Cup final this season, have been boosted by the news Josh Van der Flier is available after he managed to recover from his recent groin injury.
