  • Jerome Akor Adams is off to a flier!
Let us invite and select players based on current form. We should have used this Nations Cup qualifiers to blood in some new players doing well in Europe. It is not completely late to do so.

  • another Nigerian striker joining a top 5 league and making his mark already. soon nigerian players will be the most sough after players on the african continent. more goals to you Akor, but for now you have to wait your turn for a super eagles invite. there are still players like Boniface and orban who are ahead of you.

Akor Adams the adamant annihilator. You shall pull up trees in France. Scoring goals is where you belong. Super Eagles is your home.
Heaven bless Adams and all deserving Super Eagles strikers.

  • Nice game Adams…… Super Eagles is loaded in the strikers position but that doesn’t mean we should throw away all the upcoming Talented strikers we have…..We should be rotating them and make sure they all have minutes with the team because you never know when any of them could be called upon incase of injuries especially before major tournaments…….We don’t want them to look out of place when called upon…….. Osimhen Moffi and Sodiq will not always be available at all times so let’s stop the “who will he bench” nonesence talk.

We need a sound coach , visionary coach that can turn the abundance of strikers we have into a blessing otherwise it will be our nemesis. Argentina play a brand of football that’s all attacking due to the abundance of strikers they have ,what stops us in playing such style. You adopt your play to the resources available to you.we have strikers in abundance then we ought to be playing attacking pressure football.

Honestly speaking we need personnel who are more knowledgeable in the game of football to take us further, by doing what’s right nobody will complain of the remnants that fall off the tables for you to eat. Now to the dead rubber game ,the coach should invite players that are performing excellently and yet new into eagles . Most importantly I love thus guy Boniface ,that guy is a beast that is fit for african football and can also play from the midfield and he is difficult to mark.Gift Orban to me should be invited but I doubt if he has the maturity to make it to the nation’s cup. We need new midfielder like Hassan that just moved to Portugal. Then we have new players of Nigeria descendant that just got promoted to premiership they can be invited to make our midfield and defence strong .Yobo no longer appear strong again.

I also forgot to mention this guy Stella. He is the new Amokachi , a very steel in moving forward.very direct I will prefer him to lookman, the later though skilful but he doesn’t have a fighter’s spirit. He is someone lazy. Fighters like Osimein, Aminu, Alhassan, Gift Orban , Boniface, Awoniyi, chukwueze, are what we need . We need touts and agbero eshin ko ko iku ( flies don’t fear death.) Players like Ndidi , lookman, Maja, are soft players.

Great 2 goals Adams to lead Naija scorer chart in top 5 leagues in the World. Scored with his head and left foot from a tight angle.
    Good job Adams!

You are so right @Larry. We are right to celebrate all our players regardless of their ethnicity.
Jingoism has no place in football.

    @Akanlo Ede, Absolutely.
Let us show more love to our top players. With our collective strong voice, we can make them feel comfortable soeaking up against issues affecting them without fears of the nf or corrupt coaches.

@Sean, how I wish we had the same options in GK, midfield and defense.
When it comes to consistency in top 5 leagues only few of can make the list.
Iwobi is the only known midfielder with more than 50 appearances in top 5 league. Ndidi can be considered but he has lost the magic touch.
Aina is the only known defender with more than 50 appearances in top 5 leagues. We can add Zaidu and Bassey to the list because if their experience with top club sides.
No CD in top 5..Semi didn’t do badly with more than 20 start in EPL experience, Ekong’s lack of concentration and passing skills got exposed limiting him to less than 20 EPL starts..
    Upcoming stars for call-ups

    GK:Ovie Ojeheri
    DF: Fredrick, Ogwuche, Osho
    CMF: Onyedika, Daga, Akinsemiro, Alhassan
AMF: Ibtahim Said, Dele Bahiru. Eletu, Nnadi,
    Winger: Sarki, Tella
