  • Im guessing both moffi and kalu will not make the list for the afcon tournament.

  • Kalu need serious prayers Bcos this incessant injuries is not ordnary.

    • Injuries and illnesses, I feel so sorry for Kalu. I believe I speak for all well meaning Super Eagles fans when I say our prayers are with him to get his career back on an even keel.

  • We should be prudent we accusing Rohr of not testing new players in the Super Eagles.

On the back of an excellent campaign last season in the France Ligue 1 where he averaged 1 goal per 2 games (14 goals in 32 encounters to be precise), Controversial-Rohr handed the 22 year old striker an invitation against Cameroon in June’s double header friendlies.

Moffi featured in both matches but his performances were under the weather. Undeterred, Rohr gave him 17 minutes against Cape Verde in September’s world cup qualifier only for Moffi to produce another lacklustre performance.

He has been rightly overlooked ever since.

Moffi’s form in club football has also taken a plunge having scored just 2 goals in 16 league games this season to suggest that he might just be a one season wonder.

Needless to say he is not expected to sail to Cameroon with the Super Eagles for next year’s Afcon. However, if his form improves in the intervening months, he might just make a sensational return to the Super Eagles for next year’s meaty matches.

For now, he needs to rediscover the form that made him the talk of the town last season.
